Here’s some before and afters, with a few bits in between 👇

This was another one of our jobs in Bloxham, and there’s quite a mix in this one.

It started with the roof, removing the moss without pressure washing or walking across the tiles, before clearing out the gutters and applying a biocide treatment afterwards.

Once the roof was sorted, we worked our way around the rest of the outside too. The gutters, fascia's and soffits were cleaned, along with the windows and door frames and everything left tidy.

The front door had seen better days and had begun to fade as well, so rather than just giving it a quick clean we restored it properly and gave it back some of its original colour.

If there are a few things around the outside of yours that could do with sorting, give us a shout for a free quote!

We’d rather build this than spend the day walking all over your roof 👇

Our mobile scaffold tower isn’t just about getting us up to roof level. Paired with the Marshall air, it gives us a proper working platform so we can clean large sections from the edge and keep unnecessary walking across your roof to a minimum.

It also means we’re not trying to work from awkward ladder positions or leaning where we shouldn’t be, which helps reduce the chance of damaging gutters, fascias or soffits just to gain access.

And because it’s mobile, we can take it down, move it round the property and set it back up wherever we need it next.
It’s quick and easy, there’s no need for fixed scaffolding around the house or the extra cost that comes with it.

Better access for us. Less unnecessary contact with your roof and roofline.

This roof was cleaned around 3 years ago.

The difference between this customer’s roof and the neighbour’s is outstanding, especially after the years that have passed.

It shows how well the biocide treatment we apply, and how we apply it, works. This is why you should always opt for a properly trained & qualified company to carry out the work.

You may have seen the horror stories.
Roofs being blasted, gutters being bent, damage being caused, or roofs being cleaned and treated only to be full of moss again within a couple of years and never looking properly clean.

Here’s what we at Clear Skies do differently

Roof cleaning:
Marshall Air system and manual scraping techniques. Controlled moss removal, no pressure washing on the roof and optional biocide treatments for long-term results.
We use our mobile scaffold tower where suitable to help keep unnecessary walking across the tiles to a minimum. Gutters are also cleared as part of every full roof clean.

Gutter, fascia and soffit cleaning:
High-reach vacuum system for safe gutter clearing, with no need to stand on your roof. Fascias, soffits and the outside of the guttering can also be cleaned.

Biocide treatments:
HSE-authorised biocide products, fully compliant with the UK’s Control of Pesticides Regulations (COPR), applied by a fully trained and approved biocide applicator.
Fully insured, tidy work, with care taken to protect render, windows and landscaping.

If you’d like us to take a look at your roof or gutters, drop us a message.

We believe in honest work. All quotes are free and pressure-free. You decide if and when you’re ready.

What a difference by the end of this one 👇

A recent job in Bloxham with moss across the roof, full gutters and the roofline ready for a good clean.

We removed the moss without pressure washing, cleared the gutters, cleaned the fascias and soffits, then applied a biocide treatment afterwards.

The treatment will continue working after we leave, helping to keep the roof cleaner for longer and slowing down future organic growth.

Really pleased with how this one finished up.

Yes, we do own a pressure washer 😂

We just don’t use it on roofs.

Driveways and patios are a different story.

Alongside our roof and gutter work, we also clean driveways, patios and other suitable outdoor surfaces.

This had built up plenty of dirt and grime over the years. A proper clean brought the colour back through and made a massive difference.

Turns out the pressure washer does have a place after all.
Just not on your roof.😂

If your driveway or patio could do with a proper clean, drop us a message.

We’ve shown a few parts of this one already, but here's a few before & after's that show the difference properly👇

From the ground, the moss blended in with the tiles and didn’t look anywhere near as heavy as it actually was.

Once we got closer, it was packed into the joints across the roof, with a few broken tiles hidden underneath the build up too.

The moss was removed without pressure washing, the damaged tiles replaced, the gutters cleared and cleaned, the fascia's and soffits cleaned, and a biocide treatment applied afterwards.

The treatment will continue working after we leave, targeting the smaller organic growth and staining. We'll be back in 3 months to see how its progressing.

No rushed blast-and-go clean.

A little late, but definitely worth showing.

𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁?

We think getting a quote should be the easiest part of the whole process.

But for many people, it isn’t.

• You just want an idea of cost before taking things any further.
• You don’t want several companies turning up at your house.
• You don’t want to invite someone to your home before you know anything about them.
• And you don’t want one simple enquiry to feel like you’ve already started a sales process.

𝗦𝗼 𝘄𝗲’𝘃𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘄𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗼𝘁𝗲.

In many cases, we can now give you a rough guide price from photos before arranging a visit.

We’d still carry out a proper inspection before confirming anything final.

The difference is, you’ll already have a good idea of the likely cost, had the chance to ask us anything you want and understand exactly how we work before anyone needs to come out.

No awkward conversation in your own home while you’re still trying to work out whether it’s right for you.

So whether you want to know about our process, qualifications, insurance or why we use the methods we do…

𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝗸.

Quite a bit hiding up there 😅

This gutter was packed with moss and debris from the roof. We cleared it properly, then gave the fascias and soffits a clean while we were there.

If you think yours need sorting, give us a shout

Thinking about getting your roof cleaned?

Before you accept a quote, ask a few questions. It could save you money and help protect your roof.

❓Will you pressure wash my roof?
Not every roof should be pressure washed. Ask why they've chosen that method for your roof.

❓Will you walk all over the tiles?
Excessive foot traffic can increase the risk of cracked or displaced tiles. Ask how they'll access the roof.

❓What happens to the moss?
Removing it is only part of the job. Ask what they'll do to help prevent it coming back and how they will be disposing off it.

❓Are the gutters cleared?
Moss has to go somewhere. Make sure blocked gutters aren't left behind after the clean.

❓Are you fully insured?
Roof cleaning carries risks. Make sure they're properly insured for the work they're carrying out.

❓What if you find damage?
A good company should stop, let you know and discuss the next step—not just carry on.

❓How is biocide runoff controlled?
Ask how they'll stop treatment entering surface drains and how they'll manage any runoff during the job. It shouldn't simply be allowed to wash straight into surface drains.

❓What's actually included?
Always ask exactly what's included in the quote so there are no surprises later.

Even if you don't choose us, we'd still recommend asking these questions. A company that takes pride in its work should be happy to answer every one of them.
