The Oxipur Ecolabel-certified products’ combination allows to
have a pH-NEUTRAL fabric washing, with the following
advantages:
1. FOR THE ENVIRONMENT:
• A lower environmental impact, thanks to the Ecolabel-certified
formulas containing eco-friendly raw materials
• An increased energy saving, thanks to the use of lower
temperatures, since the products are already active at just 20°C
• A lower rinsing-water consumption: thanks to products that
do not contain alkaline substances, just two rinsing cycles are
enough
2. FOR THE FABRICS:
• A greater respect and protection of the fibres, resulting in
fabrics that last longer over time
• A greater protection against the fabrics’ greying and yellowing
• A greater respect for coloured fabrics
3. FOR PEOPLE:
• A greater respect for the skin and a reduced skin irritation for the
washed fabrics’ users, thanks to products that do not contain
alkaline substances
• Dermatologically-tested fabric softener

There are many types of dirt. To simplify, we can divide them into 6
macro areas:

1. SOLID: particulate, sand, rust, soil, soot and limestone are dirt
obtained from solid particles, often minerals that are normally
not soluble in water. They can be removed in the soaking
or pre-washing phases. Sometimes they require the laundry
descaling.

2. COLOURANTS: fruit, coffee, tea, wine, sauces, lipstick and blood
contain coloured substances that are not soluble in water. They must
be bleached with chlorineor with bleaches that develop oxygen.

3. OILY FAT: vegetal, animal or mineral fats constitute oily dirt
which is not soluble in water and common in certain fabrics such as
polyester. They must be treated with surfactants-based detergents
able to make them soluble in water. They are removed during
the pre-washing and washing phases, preferably at medium/high
temperatures.

4. WATER-SOLUBLE: salt and sugar-based substances constitute dirt
which is soluble in water. They must be treated with the sole action of
the water. They are removed during the soaking or pre-washing phases.

5. MICROORGANISMS: bacteria, spores, fungi and moulds constitute a
microorganisms dirt that proliferates on fabrics, especially when they
are left dirty for a long time in humid environments. They must be
treated with disinfectants and/or bleaches to reduce their presence.

6. DIRT NOT WASHABLE IN WATER: paints, synthetic oil and enamel
paint constitute dirt that cannot be washed in water. For this type of
dirt, it is recommended the use of “dry cleaning” machines.
