Hello,
As everyone is aware, my daughter starts school this September, so my whole working schedule is going to change slightly.
I’m already looking ahead to September to make sure everything runs smoothly. I’ll be sending a general message to everyone to confirm which days work best for you and which do not. My working hours will be changing from 9-hour days to 6-hour days, spread across 5 days instead of 3.5 days.
Please could you confirm which days work best for you, and also let me know if you are flexible with times. I currently have 25 clients to accommodate, and although many of you have told me your preferences before, I’d like to reconfirm as circumstances can change.
For the first 3.5 years of running my cleaning business, I haven’t needed to take school half terms off. From September, I will need to take some time during these breaks, although thankfully my husband will also be helping with childcare, so I won’t need every holiday off. If this no longer works for you, I completely understand and won’t be offended if you decide to find another cleaner. Just to reassure everyone — I will NOT be taking the full 6 weeks off during summer holidays, only part of it.
Most of you are already on a “clean by house, not by hours” arrangement, and I’ll be moving everyone else onto this too. No prices will be changing, and I’ll explain everything individually to those affected.
I really appreciate all of your continued support — 95% of you have been long-standing customers from the beginning, and I’m so grateful for that 🥰
