🔥 CALLIPER PAINTING – IT'S MORE THAN JUST A COAT OF PAINT! 🔥

Ever wondered what actually goes into our brake calliper painting service at Revive Automotive Garage? 👀

We don't just spray over dirt and hope for the best. Proper preparation, attention to detail and careful painting are what make the difference!

Here's how we do it! 👇

🧽 STEP 1 – DEEP CLEANING & RUST REMOVAL

First, we thoroughly clean the brake callipers using professional brake cleaners and degreasing products.

We then remove surface rust, corrosion and old, loose paint using specialist tools and abrasive buffers.

A properly prepared surface is the foundation of a long-lasting finish!

🛡️ STEP 2 – PRECISION MASKING & PROTECTION

We paint only the visible external parts of the brake callipers.

We carefully protect brake discs, pads, rubber seals, electrical components and other sensitive areas.

⚠️ We avoid painting internal braking mechanisms, moving parts and rubber components. These areas are not designed to be painted and must remain free from paint contamination.

We do not remove or dismantle the brake callipers during our standard painting service.

This allows us to offer a quicker, more affordable cosmetic transformation without unnecessarily disturbing the braking system.

🎨 STEP 3 – PRIMER & PAINT

Now for the transformation!

We apply:

🔸 3 coats of primer for proper surface preparation.

🔸 3 coats of your chosen colour for a smooth, even finish.

🔸 Optional clear coat for additional gloss and protection.

From classic gloss black and sporty red to eye-catching fluorescent colours, the choice is yours! 🌈

⏳ STEP 4 – DRYING & CURING

We allow appropriate drying time between coats to achieve a quality finish.

🚗 Most vehicles are ready for collection the following day!

Because we don't dismantle the braking system, our process is relatively quick and efficient while still allowing time for careful preparation and painting.

We recommend avoiding washing the callipers for at least 48 hours after collection to help protect the fresh finish.
