Today, we as a nation mark a significant moment in history as we come together for the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

This is a day of sadness, but also an opportunity to reflect upon and celebrate the remarkable life and seventy-year reign of our late monarch.

The Queen’s tireless service to the United Kingdom and the wider Commonwealth was a shining example of professionalism, dedication and unwavering sense of duty.

Please join us today in taking time to quietly mourn and remember the exceptional reign of our former sovereign.

Thank you for your seven decades of service, Ma’am.

Colder days are here time to drag the coat from the back of the wardrobe. As the world pretty much shut down at the end of March many coats were put away and forgotten about. The last thing thought about was ‘ i must drop my coat in the cleaners’ well it’s time now. Come on down we are waiting!
