We appreciate it’s been a little quiet on our page recently, this is simply due to an exceptionally busy spring period, with a consistently high workload keeping us fully booked.

We wanted to share a small selection of recent carpet and upholstery cleaning work, highlighting the level of results we aim to achieve on every job. From heavily soiled carpets to tired upholstery, restoring them to a clean, fresh condition is what we take pride in.

We are continuing to take bookings, and with the warmer weather now here, it is an ideal time to have carpets, rugs and upholstery professionally cleaned. Higher temperatures and improved airflow mean significantly faster drying times, allowing you to enjoy the results sooner and with minimal disruption.

Not All Carpets Are the Same – And Neither Is Stain Removal

One of the most common mistakes people make when trying to remove a stain is reaching for a cheap over-the-counter carpet cleaner without knowing what type of carpet they actually have.

Synthetic carpets and wool carpets need to be treated very differently.

Most supermarket carpet cleaning products are designed for synthetic fibres, which are much more tolerant of stronger chemicals. But if those same products are used on wool carpets, they can actually do more harm than good.

Wool is a natural fibre and much more delicate. The wrong product can cause:

• Colour damage or bleaching
• Fibre weakening
• Permanent marks where the stain was
• Sticky residues that attract more dirt

Unfortunately, we often get called out after someone has already tried several shop-bought products, which can sometimes make the stain much harder to remove.

Professional carpet cleaning isn’t just about machines — it’s about understanding fibres, using the correct chemistry, and treating each carpet the right way.

Back to it and fully in the flow again after the New Year!

January has started exactly how we like it – a great mix of domestic homes and commercial spaces, keeping us busy and carpets looking fresh.
From family living rooms to offices and pubs, it’s been all go getting rid of the leftover Christmas mess, and giving carpets a proper reset for 2026.

📅 January is almost fully booked – thank you to everyone who’s already booked.

However we do still have a few spaces left, and we’re now taking bookings into February.

Having cleaned thousands of Indian rugs over the past 40 years, I decided it was finally time to see how these incredible pieces are made firsthand. Watching the craftsmanship that goes into each handwoven rug was truly inspiring — it’s a real art form.

Fun fact: Walking on an Indian rug actually enhances its shine over time, as the fibres are gently polished by your socks!

Now I’m on home turf again and back into the swing of things, this is the best time to book... It’s getting busier by the day in the run-up to Christmas and the commercial jobs are starting to book for January - So don’t leave it too late!
