First day on-site delivering specialised internal body cleaning for refuse vehicles at ODS for Oxford City Council 🚛♻️

Today marks the start of our work supporting ODS with the essential task of specialised internal body cleaning for their refuse vehicles. This process is far more than a deep clean, it ensures each commercial and domestic refuse vehicle is thoroughly clean and sanitised, helping maintain vehicle longevity and supporting efficient waste processing across the city.

With our fully trained staff carrying out the cleaning and sanitisation process, we ensure all excess waste build-up is safely removed, creating a safer environment for the maintenance team to carry out repairs and inspections with confidence.

A cleaner, sanitised vehicle is a safer vehicle, and an efficient fleet keeps Oxford running smoothly.

Successful Open Day Showcasing Our Infection Prevention Services

We had a fantastic day on site at DHL PTS centre showcasing the Infection Prevention Services we deliver on behalf of DHL for the NHS. It was a valuable opportunity to explain our processes, share best practices, and highlight the crucial role we play in supporting patient safety.

⭐️ Staff Member Recognition ⭐️

Thanks to Chelsea’s hard work and dedication we have now started to work with two further DHL sites in Wiltshire and Hertfordshire. The work includes sanitising 120 tractor units across both sites, to ensure the drivers are working in a clean environment. Chelsea’s high standard of work didn’t go unnoticed, because these sites came through recommendation

Here are a few action shots during another successful High Level Clean working with Reading Council to clean and clear out a School’s roof gullies after a flood. I was extremely impressed with Jack’s skilful cherry picker manoeuvres which avoided many hazards. Thank you to The Acorn High Level Team for another successful job 👍 👏

It’s been great to have our Health & Safety Officer on site today to carry out the final checks with our High Level Cleaning Team. The project involves roof cleaning of an old Victorian school building in Reading. It’s taken us a while to get to this point, we’ve liaised with the school and the council to ensure all safety measures are in place because some of the work will need to be carried out from the road, so traffic management has also been arranged.

Thank you to for carrying out a site visit today to ensure the machine is suitable for the job.

Our Acorn High Level Experts have been at a School in Reading carrying out a Health & Safety site inspection. Following this inspection we can hire the correct machinery that will enable us to clean the roof. We have to liaise with the Council to arrange closure of the road so we can boom out onto the roof via the road.
