Porch Roof Clean 🏠

Believe it or not but these results are simply from a wire brush and pure water.

These customers didn't opt for a biocide treatment and were happy to accept the fact that the results wouldn't last too long - compared to if they did have the treatment.

Customer expectations were also managed for the initial results but we were all blown away with the results.

The way we clean roofs doesn't always give an 'instant clean result' as many would like.

However, by carefully scraping off moss and then applying an approved DDAC biocide, the fantastic results eventually come.

This is because the subsequent weather cycles after the treatment slowly erodes away the dead biological material.

The roof pictured has come up really well and will only keep improving in appearance.

This roof is coming along nicely after a moss removal and biocide treatment just over a month ago. Check out the difference compared to next door!

Roof Treatment 🌱🫧

This roof had lots of growth that needed removing.

Most of the build up was removed by hand using steel scrapers and wire brushes. It was then given a biocide treatment using a HSE approved product to kill any remaining biofilm.

The appearance of the roof will continue to improve over the next few months as the weather cycles erode away the dead algae and lichen.

1. Untreated roof
2. Scrape off moss using bespoke blades that fit the tile profile
3. All moss removed
4. Professional HSE approved biocide applied to kill off all remaining biological growth

DDAC Biocide gets into micro cracks of hard, porous surfaces and prevents regrowth of biofilm.

90L of moss was removed from this roof which will protect the roof and gutters over the coming winter preventing potential costly damage.

Unbelievable build up of spiders on this one window just 4 weeks since the last clean! The window backs onto a canal which is why it gets so dirty.
