🐦🐦Bird Exclusion🐦🐦

Seasonal Swallows for example, are due to return around May and they just love to make their nests below eves or overhangs of buildings.

Why would birds need controlling?
Here are a few reasons……..

Associated fouling. Not only is this unsightly on a building fascia, wet fouling can create a potential slip / trip hazard. It may also contain diseases such as Salmonella and E. coli and dried fouling becoming airborne causing respiratory risks. Fouling can also cause premature erosion of building cladding due to high acid levels.
Bird nests are prone to various insects, parasites and diseases which can then cause potential health issues to humans. Nests can also be washed into gutters during bad weather and cause blockages, leading to water ingress and damage.

With all birds being protected by law, a professional approach is recommended. There are various control measures available so please feel free to get in touch should you need help with any nuisance bird issues.

Some photos of discrete netting applied to a domestic property that was suffering from nesting Swallows. Exclusion netting was applied ‘out of season’ before the birds returned for the nesting season. This successfully prevented them from nesting on this building again and was barely visible from the ground.
