Showers like these should be cleaned with Jiff Paste or pink paste, scrubbed all over with sponge or gentle scrubber so as not to scrach the plastic or glass. Tiles and backlash needs same treatment. Then rinse with water. Any remaining residue can be sprayed with white vinegar and dried with microfiber cloth. The catch basin and corners needs to be brushed too. All rinsed with plain water. Its soap build up and needs a thourough clean. No fancy spray or cleaning aids needed, just plain elbow grease. Happy cleaning.

We are ready for spring....
Simple trick on having a refreshing carpeted home, if you cannot change the carpets, have it washed instead! I always get surprised how it always makes a difference, and how much grime gets accumulated even if you vacuum everyday. I use shark carpet washers, and used the solutions that come with the machine. But this carpet shampoo from Bissell works wonders too.

We did a deep clean on a kitchen. A mixture of dish soap and hydrogen peroxide is very effective at washing and disinfecting the floors without the smell of harsh chemicals. Mopped it on the kitchen floor, and then mopped again with plain warm water to rinse it off. The floor is good as new.
(If unsure if the mixture will damage laminates, try it on a small area first. Always brush the floor or vacuum first before mopping for a thoroughly clean floor.

Citric Acid powder can be used to remove limescale build up from kettles and steam iron. Just pour half upto a teaspoon of citric acid powder inside your kettle, add water and put on boil. The powder dissolves clear in water. I usually swirl the boiled solution around my kettle, and pour it out, put fresh water and boil it again. I use food based citric acid powder, I buy them in Asian shops or amazon. Amazing result! My kettle is like new, and I know its food grade and non chemical. Cheap solution to remove limescale build up.
