Not every critical engineering project involves building something new.

Every pipework project begins as lengths of pipe, plate, and forgings arriving at the workshop. What appears to be simple steel is the foundation of critical infrastructure that may one day carry water, steam, chemicals, or energy.
Detailed drawings and specifications are reviewed by the fabrication team. Every dimension, weld preparation, and fl**ge orientation is planned to ensure the finished assembly performs exactly as designed.
Pipe sections are cut, bevelled, set up and prepared for welding.

Far from new, but this set of rolls will be a great addition to our workshop. The large capacity rolls will allow us to roll all our boiler patch plates in-house. We have a few things still to organise on the shop floor to make space for this kit, and once they are levelled we should be good in a few weeks. This set really boosts our rolling capabilities and will be able to offer more than just patch plates in the future.
