Northam Town Council has recently had both the Northam and Appledore War Memorials professionally cleaned to help preserve these important places of remembrance for future generations.

A huge thank you to Dave from Grave Concerns https://graveconcerns.co.uk/, who has done a cracking job. The memorials are looking fantastic, and the care and attention to detail really shows.

This is just the first step in our ongoing commitment to maintaining these valued memorials. Next on the list is the careful restoration of the face on the Northam War Memorial, which has been affected by years of weathering and natural wear.

This specialist conservation work will help preserve the memorial for many years to come while respecting its historic significance.
