We are looking for an individual who is highly organised, forward thinking, and is a team player with excellent communication skills. This position would suit someone with a positive attitude and previous experience working in the building trade or similar trade setting. Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge would be advantageous.
You will fill a pivotal role in the company as this position has significant impact on repeat and new business moving forward.
Main duties:
- Politely and compassionately carrying out the removal of hard / soft floor coverings, wooden and tiled floors, fitted kitchens and bathrooms, removal of ceilings, insulation and wall coverings. We deal with customers who have experienced disasters within the home and may be stressed/upset.
- Clean up all debris and dust created by the 'strip out' work to leave a tidy environment is crucial.
- Load up all debris and segregate as required.
- Follow written instructions and deal proactively with any unforeseen issues that may arise.
- Update the home owner and your line manager during / after each job.
- Help other departments as and when required.
We are based in Ammanford, and the successful candidate would ideally work 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, covering jobs in and around the South Wales area. Additional overtime may be required occasionally in order to complete a job.
