This Multimillion Pound property now has black mould covering the upstairs bathrooms - reason?
Lazy roofers. 👎

All that was needed was a proper seal around 1 bathroom vent... a 30 second fix costing an extra fiver...

Instead it's cost the owner almost £1,000 to identify and fix the problem. 👇

Not even taking into consideration all the fixes they tried that didn't work! 🌳

The UKs number 1 problem isnt bad teeth, its The 3 hidden DANGERS of pressure washing your roof 🏠

Which are:

1️⃣ Hard pressure washing your roof goes against most home care guidelines and can even lead to you roof warrantee being voided! 📄

2️⃣ The high pressure can cut through old tiles like butter, leading to further costs for fixes.❌️

3️⃣90% of my clients who have had this done, later complain about damp showing up within 6 months of work being carried out. 💦

But thats just my experience with pressure washing roofs, I'm sure the 10% who don't have problems after are very satisfied with the job! 👍

From the ground, it looks like this ridge is rock steady. Unfortunately, these are ready to come flying off in the next high winds! 🪁

I've had multiple clients having to pay for a new car roof as well as repair their property roof because these heavy ridges havent been properly secured. 👎

Another Cowboy EXPOSED 🤡
A clients just told me a totaly crazy story about some more so called "roofers" and their "professional" recommendations for repair works. 🤠

After receiving a quote at TEN THOUSAND POUNDS, they made the sensible decision of asking around for secondary quotes... turns out they didn't need a new ridge with 5 new courses of tiles... they just needed to rebed a section of ridge tiles... for a quarter of the price! 🤦‍♂️

Serious question here... where does these chances get their prices from? 💰💰

During a property Sale or purchase- this is what your surveyors are looking to see on your roof:

1️⃣NO MOSS 👌
Reason being, Moss is terrible for the longevity of your roof, the more you've got up there, the shorter the life expectancy.

2️⃣ EMPTY GUTTERS 🌳
No blockages is the sign of a well looked after property, if you've got a couple plants growing up there then you can garuntee there's been water running down those walls for some time.

3️⃣EVIDENCE OF COWBOYS 🤠
From disposable vapes being left on flat roofs, to energy drinks being hidden under tiles- if your surveyor gets wiff of cowboy activity on the roof, they're likely to red list that property to their client!!
It happens all the time. 👎

The 3 ULTIMATE reasons WHY Wet ridges are better than Dry ridges: 🙏

1️⃣They are way more cist effective for the client, material cost is heavily reduced, minimising the overall investment for the client 💰

2️⃣ It'll last for 5 years at least!

The crazy thing is that this is the industry standard 🥸
And my client wasn't surprised by how expensive it cost... they were surprised by how much cheaper we got it done for! 👎
(And probably to a better standard).

LEARN FROM MY CLIENTS MISTAKE 👇👇

My clients just paid a massive bill to learn this lesson. ❌️

She recently had some "roofers" come out to quote, she wasn't convinced on their credibility as roofers - do you know how they got her?

Cheap scafolding prices.
The old- "my cousins a scafolder, he'll sort you a good price"... 💩

What the client didn't realise is that the so-called roofer just added that scafold price to the service cost! 🤠

And guess what... these guys have left a massive hole in her roof, which she's had to pay US to come and fix! 😬

Moral of the story is this... if the roofer is willing to give you scafolding for free... he's not a roofer!

(A real roofer would use a roof ladder anyway)

Only a pro roofer like me could sort this mess out...🤦‍♂️

This client had a couple 🤠🤠 charge her a FORTUNE for scafolding, and still not do the job properly!

They NAILED tiles directly into the FELT!! ❌️
Opening up a clear route for water to get into the property. 💦

No battens in site, but loads of mold on my clients ceiling! 💲

But we've saved the day and Reversed the 🤠 work into top grade roofing art. 🙏
