We have some serious rainfall falling from the skies out there currently. The whole of the south is under a huge area of torrential ground... this falling on already saturated ground. Floods likely overnight!⚠️🌧

Rain continuing overnight. Possibly turning to sleet over the hills towards midnight. This will last for much of the night. All this rain accompanied with fairly strong winds too. An unsettled night to come. Low of 0°C.

Rain will slowly clear through the morning tomorrow. Remaining cloudy for much of the day tomorrow. Possibly something brighter developing later in the day. A chilly day with highs of just 5°C.

Some clear spells possible tomorrow night at first. Cloud will return later in the night. A dry and settled night to come, with some patchy mist and fog in places. Lows of 3°C.

Another cloudy start to come on friday. Showers likely to develop through the morning. More general light rain possibly into the afternoon. Sunnny spells developing later in the day. Feeling milder. Highs of 11°C.

Go easy if your out and about tonight or early tomorrow morning. Plenty of surface water likely.
