As nights draw in across Farnham and Aldershot, curtains start working harder. Heavy lined, blackout and interlined curtains keep heat in and draughts out, but they also hold months of dust, cooking smells and everyday marks.
Before guests arrive and the heating goes on full-time, it's worth a quick look:
• Check the leading edges and bottom hems: these usually show marks first.
• Hold a panel up to the light and look for fading or dull patches.
• Read the care label. Lined, blackout and interlined curtains often shouldn't go in a home washing machine, because the lining and face fabric can shrink at different rates.
• Note how many panels you have and roughly how long they are. A photo of the care label and a photo of the curtains hanging makes a quote much easier.
We clean voile, unlined, lined, blackout and interlined curtains, with collection and delivery arranged in advance. Send us a photo on WhatsApp: https://wa.me/447494223079?text=Hi%20FDC%2C%20I%27d%20like%20a%20quote%20%5BSO-CUR%5D
