Update on our current project in sunningdale for we have been investigating the pool and it’s systems and have unearthed a few horrors! The balance tank is not only filthy it’s it had a large amount of floating debris, a piece of insulation as a sort of lid and various bad plumbing issues, the drainage channels either side of the pool have loose materials in And corrosion and popping masonry at various points and will need to be repaired And fibreglassed. The existing sand filters have been emptied, cleaned and new sand fitted obviously for the 1st time in a long time! The pool lights have been investigated And repaired, this pool is going to be retiled to make it look and feel new again as well as being converted to a Surchlor salt system to help with its ongoing up keep.
