I love beautiful old beams. These had been painted over in white and over time the paint had started to flake. I used various wire brushes to remove the paint and a hammer drill to remove the cement from the filled holes. I then applied a natural satin wood preserver. It looks quite dark but will dry a little lighter. My customer was thrilled to see the natural beauty of the beams again.

A nice fresh bathroom. The existing join in the plasterboard needed some attention so I sanded it back and filled with joint filler and re sanded to a smooth finish. I popped on 2 coats of undercoat (on the join) and then painted the whole room in 2 coats Jade blue. Oh and I gave the ceiling a new lick of white.

Made a conservatory look fresh for the new year.
My customer had the wide cracks plastered so what was needed was sanding to blend into the existing ceiling, an undercoat to seal the new plaster and a fresh coat of vinyl silk over the whole ceiling. While I was there I freshened the walls too. White is pretty tricky to photograph but here are a few pictures.

Beams cleaned and satin varnish applied. Ceilings had an undercoat then a white silk paint. Walls were painted with an undercoat onto the new plaster then painted with a beautiful matt finish ice cream sundae yellow.
