When people ask me how long have you had the laundry, i answer 15 years. The photo below is of my great grandparents and the boy is my grandfather. The photo is from 1921 and it was operational for over 60 years. It was in Dukinfield in Greater Manchester and i remember it as a young boy. It was a bit different to what we have now.
And yes he was Chinese from Canton.
So there is a bit of history behind Bubbles Laundry
