First Class Nursery follows the renowned British Foundation Stage curriculum. We have been preparing children for their entry to school for 20 YEARS in Cairo. The British Early Years Foundation Stage framework, is an evidence-based approach to providing the best start in life for children from birth to age 5. The EYFS focuses on play-based learning through 7 key areas:

🌱 Communication and language - We build confidence in speaking and listening through songs, stories and games.

🌱 Physical development - Our garden and indoor areas allow lots of opportunities for energetic play and developing coordination.

🌱 Personal, social and emotional development - We help children feel secure, respected and learn to manage emotions and relationships.

🌱 Literacy - Children have access to a wide variety of books and writing materials to spark an early love of reading and writing.

🌱 Mathematics - We incorporate counting, sorting, shapes and measuring into our activities to lay the foundations in maths.

🌱 Understanding the world - Nature walks, cooking, and more help children explore and question the world around them.
