We are glad to announce that ISC3 - International Sustainable Chemistry Collaborative Centre , Egypt National Cleaner Production Center - ENCPC - مركز الانتاج الانظف, and Youthinkgreen Egypt are initiating a dialogue towards finding a national understanding of Sustainable Chemistry and exploring best practices to promote it. Those practices reach from entrepreneurship education to new innovation policies, promotion programs for start-ups, corporate challenges, and new investment vehicles for SMEs and start-ups. Innovation Management training program applications are now open for (Egypt only)

• Small, medium and large enterprises

• Small and Growing Businesses/ Startups

• Manufacturing and service sectors.!

Innovation Management is a training program focusing on Innovation management as a Business development approach for Small & growing businesses, SMEs and Large companies in different industrial sectors as well as the service sector.

The training program is organized by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the German International Cooperation (GIZ). Training is delivered by a German consultancy firm.

The Next 100 African Start-ups initiative, organized jointly by IFC and the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation, will select up to 100 promising entrepreneurs based in Africa and connect them with business leaders, international investors, financial institutions, and policymakers at the Africa 2018 Forum in December in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The initiative is part of IFC’s broader efforts to boost entrepreneurship in the Middle East and Africa by helping start-ups access much-needed financing, receive advice, and break into new markets.

The initiative’s aim is to unlock the region’s entrepreneurial potential by showcasing Africa’s best and brightest entrepreneurs and start-ups, and creating markets for early stage businesses. The program targets Africa-based startups that have already demonstrated some level of success, either by generating revenue or by developing a working prototype. The selected startups and entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to network with, and be connected to, top business and political leaders.
