Like with glasshouse extensions to homes, the so-called passages or galleries are double-sided. Depending on the beauty of the glass-construction, the rooms can be wonderful attractions in the city, but the downside is often the quality of light in the functions bordering the covered area, turning street facades into mall-facades.
