Behind every safe vessel and every avoided delay, there’s a well-trained technician. Today, we complete the final training session of the year. It’s a fitting moment to reflect on a year that has been both challenging and highly rewarding for the Danelec Training Department.
In 2025, we upgraded key processes, introduced new ways of working, and launched multiple new courses in the Danelec Training Academy. Our training activity, both onsite and online, reached a new level of scale, reflecting just how critical technician performance is to safety, uptime, and business continuity.
The scale behind that effort is significant:
Onsite training – building capability where it matters most
▪️ 110 new technicians trained in person
▪️ Representing 45 countries across our global service network
▪️ Ensuring hands-on competence for real-world installations, maintenance, and critical interventions
Online training – continuous performance at a global scale
▪️ 21 active courses in the Danelec Training Academy
▪️ 14,792 course assignments across our network
▪️ 11,037 courses completed
▪️ 1039 certification and a 98.4% pass rate
▪️ 88.3% average test score, reflecting depth of understanding, not box-ticking
▪️ 2 years and 2 months of cumulative training time delivered
▪️ 1,080 active users generating nearly 20,000 logins this year
These numbers aren’t vanity metrics. They directly translate into faster service responses, fewer repeat visits, stronger safety outcomes, and uninterrupted vessel operations for our customers.
As our installed base and solution portfolio continue to grow, so does our investment in people, because operational excellence at sea starts with competence on shore.
