Einmal Wachs drauf und fertig? Ganz so einfach ist es nicht. ⛷️

Link in Bio!

A T-shirt, sunglasses and skis on snow. ☀️❄️

Not your usual summer training.

Katharina Hennig Dotzler back on skis at the Dachstein Glacier. After countless kilometres on roller skis, there's nothing quite like the feeling of real snow under your feet.

And with views like these, the kilometres aren't too hard to enjoy.

More airtime, more repetitions. 🏂

For Christoph Lechner, summer training meant heading to Japan for halfpipe airbag sessions — working on tricks, rotations and control with a softer landing.

But not everything happens in the air. Upper-body and core strength play a major role in his injury-prevention training, alongside leg workouts and endurance sessions to maintain overall fitness.

From the gym to the airbag — plenty of work behind those few seconds in the air.

Rain doesn’t ruin a session.
Wet gear does.

HOLMENKOL Textile Proof brings back the protection your functional gear needs — from membrane jackets and softshells to insulated pieces, backpacks and tents.

Spray it on. Let it dry. Done.

Water rolls off. Dirt has a harder time sticking. Breathability stays where it should be.

For gear that has to work outside, not just look good inside.

No snow. No shortcuts.

For Maximilien Drion, summer training means moving through real terrain: rocky ridgelines, steep climbs, fast trails and long hours in the mountains.

Every step builds what winter will demand later — engine, strength, balance and the ability to keep going when the climb gets honest.

This is where the season starts.

Not every summer session looks like summer.

Roller skiing through the Allgäu, double-poling on the track with extra resistance, treadmill work to hit the exact intensity — Katharina Hennig Dotzler’s preparation is built in details most people never see.

Easy days. Hard intervals. Technical work when the legs are already loaded.

That’s where winter shape is made.

Sommerpause?

HOLMENKOL – performance for every side of winter. Since 1922.
