AIRBNB CLEANING POLICY UPDATE 🏡✨

We often get asked why we request that Airbnb owners provide their own vacuum and mop for their property, so we wanted to explain.

As we attend multiple cleans each day, moving from property to property, it becomes very difficult to fully sanitize and deep clean shared vacuums and mop systems between every turnover especially when some units are pet-friendly and others are not. Pet hair, allergens, sand, debris, and general buildup can transfer from one property to another, which is something we work hard to avoid.

To keep standards high, ratings strong, and guests happy, we ask that each property have its own basic vacuum and mop on site.

What we bring:
✔ Cloths & microfiber towels
✔ Paper towel
✔ Cleaning products
✔ General cleaning supplies
✔ Our time, systems, and attention to detail

What we recommend owners supply:

Smaller units:
• Basic Swiffer-style mop or telescopic pole mop
(we can often supply replacement heads)

Larger units:
• Spin mop system such as Vileda or similar
• Reliable vacuum suited to the size of the home

We understand vacuums can be an added cost, but your property is an investment. Having your own equipment helps us maintain a cleaner, more efficient turnover and also gives guests access to a vacuum during longer stays if needed.

During each turnover, we always clean the on-site vacuum and mop equipment as part of our process.
