What is hard water?
Water is considered "hard" when it has a high concentration of minerals such as calcium, magnesium, copper or iron. You will know if you have hard water when you notice certain mineral deposits, stains or film on various surfaces throughout your home.
Although these minerals do not pose a threat to your health (in fact it is found to have a positive effect), it causes a multitude of problems that can be difficult to clean or even impossible depending on how long it's been left.
The best way to combat these problems starts with prevention. The stains you see in the photo is what is left behind after the water evaporates. The key is to not let water dry on surfaces. Towel dry these areas after use, or you can use a squeegee on glass shower doors.
If your home already has significant buildup in these areas don't despair! With the right all-natural products and (a lot) of scrubbing it is more than possible to get it back to it's original shine.
During your free in-home consultation, we will discuss your home's needs and develop an action plan to get your home where you would like it to be.
