I am by no means an expert in which oils may help specific conditions, but I will do research for you to find out if there are oils that might be good especially for you. Small home (2 bed/1bath): starting at $60 for maintenance cleaning and $90 for initial cleaning

Medium home (3 bed/1-2 bath): starting at $90 for maintenance cleans and $130 for initial home cleaning

Large home (3+ bed/3+ bath): starting at $125 for maintenance cleaning and $175 for initial home cleaning.

These hard water stains always seem permanent to me. Our house is old with so many things. One of those things is hard water leaving sinks, tubs and toilets unsightly no matter how clean.

But tonight. I tried a pumice stone.

I think I finally got this glass coffee table clean! This is at a lovely little AirBnB (if you need a place to go...!) and each time I clean this table there is always done fingerprint or streak left. This week I flipped the table over to thoroughly clean the underside. Pro tip: before buying a new piece consider how well it will clean up! That's my lens these days.

Grout lines.

I like cleaning grout lines. Never thought I'd say that but they make the floor so much cleaner and brighter. Now that I've found an effective way to clean them, it's a game changer. (My apologies to the first person I tried doing grout lines for - not effective at all. I hope she asks me to do them again sometime)

Ever thought of wiping fingerprints off light bulbs?! Me either! Until a client asked for this light fixture to be cleaned. Once the outside is cleaned it was obvious that the light bulbs had to be cleaned. So far the most unexpected thing I've found myself compelled to clean.

Cleaning light fixtures can be a pain for sure, but I don't mind as long as the client is happy for the extra time it takes. It's also satisfying to step back and see the difference. Can you see which ones have been cleaned?

Someone gave me a steam cleaner. I used it today on those grimy bits that attach seats to toilets. It's totally gross because the stuck in grime sprays out on the rest of the toilet but so satisfying to get some of that gunk out! I'll be using this tool more often!

I cleaned two homes today and now I feel sore. Probably because I Didn't drink water as I ran around with my cleaning magic rags (so much more fun to think of them as magical). Maybe I should start wearing a hydration pack as I clean?

I got home to my own mess of a house and decided I could at least get the bathroom clean while my little guy splashed around in the tub. He's still too small to leave alone in the tub (at least I think so. I don't really know when these things are ok to start allowing less observation) and that means I have some time where I can multitask. I can't always motivate myself to use the little moments here and there to get closer to a clean house, but so happy that I did tonight. A clean bathroom feels so much better.

Last week was a fun week of cleaning and making those people happy. I often find cleaning your home a bit nerve-wracking because I want to do a good job but when I get messages about how great their home is after I was there... i love it!

I'm excited to one day get rid of these MDF kitchen cupboards but since that needs to wait for awhile, getting them clean is the one thing I can do.

Wiping them down with just a spray did very little for grime stuck into the tiny crevices of the surface pattern.

Time to pull out my new favorite cleaning cream scrub: baking soda, natural Castille soap, water, essential oils to help cut the grease and clean. It worked! This is now my go-to cleaning recipe when something else fails. Love it. (I find this works better than sprinkling baking soda as I go)

(The pictures are misleading - the first picture is the after picture but the difference in color is a lighting difference. It's the difference in grime I wanted to capture)
