A question that is very often asked at our Car Wash is why is there a $20 pending charge on my credit card?
A pending transaction is a transaction that has been authorized but not yet charged to your account. That’s the system’s way of confirming the funds of $20 are available. This means the money you’ve spent, say it be $7.00 on the car wash will not yet be reflected on your current balance until it is posted. At that time the pending charge of $20 is removed.
We post all of our transactions daily but most credit card companie’s transactions can take up to 5 days to post.
