Please have a look at this stunning Cyclone fountain pen featuring rare spalted Asian tamarind wood on Black chrome hardware with bright chrome detailing. I cut this pen with a gentle profile and finished it to usual Wolverine standards. The pen has an iridium and gold nib, and it comes with an ink converter (piston-style pump) that may be switched with ink cartridges.

I will attend a pre-Christmas craft sale at Deer Lodge Centre (2109 Portage Ave, Winnipeg) on Saturday, 7 November 2026, from 10am to 3 pm. I will be situated on the 2nd floor mezzanine level. Please drop by and say hello if you are in the area.

This stunning Vertex rollerball highlights a Québec sodalite stone barrel. The chromed fittings feature a magnetic cap that also posts on the finial. The piece has a very reduced profile curvature, and the pen is finished to usual Wolverine standard. This rollerball uses Parker-type refills.

As mentioned in my previous post, I will attend a craft sale at Deer Lodge Centre (2109 Portage Ave, Winnipeg) on Saturday, November 7, from 10 am to 4 pm. Please drop in if you are able.

This exceptional Cyclone fountain pen was recently custom made for a Manitoba customer. It features 2000 year old Tuscan, cross-cut, olive burl wood on gunmetal hardware with black chrome highlights. Wood was cut with a reduced, but not straight profile. The piece was then sanded and finished with friction polish to usual Wolverine standards. The pen contains an ink converter (ink pump) and alternatively accepts ink cartridges.

Please note: I will attend a pre-Christmas craft sale on November 7, 10 am to 3 pm, at the Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg. Look for me in the 2nd floor salon rather than in the main floor concourse. Please stop by and say hello if you are in the area.

Take a look at this Majestic Jr. rollerball pen with a pastel teal-green barrel and cap of curly Karelian birch on chromed hardware with black titanium detailing. A Swarovski crystal graces the pen’s clip. The dyed wood comes from Estonia and features a rare genetic variant of silver birch. Cutting and finishing is to usual WolverineWood standards and the pen uses readily available, Parker-type refills.

Summer sales events are now over. September and October are traditionally a time for replenishing stock and preparing for pre-Christmas sales. I’ll next attend an event at Deer Lodge Centre, Winnipeg, on Saturday, November 7th.

Here is a sassy Sierra ballpoint pen featuring ‘pearlux’ composite called ‘banshee’ on attractive polished antique bronze hardware. This unusual combination was prepped and finished to usual WolverineWood standards. The piece uses readily available Parker-type refills.

Here’s another cat pen in my on-going series. This piece combines dyed Canadian sugar maple (also called curly or fiddleback maple) with chrome-finished hardware to create a comfortable grey tabby. The pen is cut, sanded and polished to usual WolverineWood standards, and it uses readily available, Parker-type refills.

As mentioned in earlier posts, I'll attend the weekend festival craft sale in PineFalls-Powerview, Manitoba. The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, 10 am to 4 pm, September 5 and 6, at the curling arena, 11 Elm Street, Pine Falls. Please stop by if you are in the area.

Who says cats can’t be blue? Recently delivered to a client in Melbourne, Australia, this fetching cat with blue sparkle alumilite on chromed hardware. The piece was cut, sanded and polished to usual Wolverine standards. It uses Parker-type refills. Stay tuned for more crazy cats.

If you are in eastern Manitoba on the Labour Day long weekend (Saturday and Sunday, September 5 and 6), please stop by the 4P Festival craft sale in Pine Falls (at the arena, 11 Elm Street) and say hello.

This pen is part of a series of budget Manager rollerballs. It features an alumilite urethane barrel and cap in a pattern called ‘taffy’ on gunmetal hardware. The piece went through cutting, sanding and finishing to usual Wolverine standards. It uses readily available, Parker-type rollerball or gel refills.

Please note: I will attend a 2-day craft and art sale in Pine Falls on the labour day long weekend. The accompanying festival is a late summer highlight in eastern Manitoba.

I erred a couple days ago when reposting a Nordic rollerball with golden amboyna burl. I originally posted it about a month ago. This is the piece I ought to have posted. My apologies for repetition.

This is a Nordic rollerball pen with spalted sycamore wood on bright and satin gold hardware. Spalted wood, much treasured by penwrights and collectors, has bacterial growth in dying wood. Each colony is ringed by black lines. Note the stylized fish on the centre band of this piece. The rollerball uses readily available Parker-type refills.
