This is one of the most common questions we hear.

The answer is in the recovery tank.

A carpet can look clean on the outside while holding dirt deep in the fibers.

Regular maintenance helps, but professional extraction removes what a normal vacuum leaves behind.

I asked God, Why do I work so hard but still feel behind?

And He whispered…

“You’re not behind. You’re just looking at where you are instead of how far I’ve brought you.”

That hit me.

Because sometimes I get so focused on what I haven’t accomplished yet that I forget to look back at everything I prayed for, everything I survived, and everything God has already brought me through.

I’m looking at the next goal.
The next problem.
The next thing I need to fix.

And I forget…

I’m not where I used to be.

Maybe you feel behind too.

But take a moment today and look back.

Look at the doors God opened.
Look at the challenges you made it through.
Look at the person you’ve become.
Look at how many times you thought you couldn’t keep going—and somehow, you did.

You may not be where you want to be yet, but that doesn’t mean you’re not making progress.

Stop measuring your life only by what’s still missing.

Sometimes you need to pause and say:

“God, thank You for bringing me this far.” 🙏

“The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

You’re not behind.
Look at how far you’ve come. ❤️

I asked God, Why does it seem like You’re so far away from me?

And He whispered…

“I never left.
You’ve just been so busy trying to carry everything on your own that you forgot to look for Me.”

I paused.

Maybe that’s why I’ve felt so tired.
I’ve been trying to figure everything out.
Trying to fix everything.
Trying to be strong for everyone.

And somewhere along the way, I forgot to simply sit with God.

So today, I’m not asking Him to fix everything.

I’m just saying:

“God, I’m here.
I need You.
Help me slow down and hear You again.”

Sometimes God isn’t far away.

We’re just carrying too much noise to hear His whisper. 🙏❤️
