Jackson's Cove Nature Preserve in Northern Bruce Peninsula, Ontario 🏞️

Looking for a heart-pumping way to spend 3–5 hours? I promise this trail delivers, and then some!

We set out at 10am, just the two of us, and made back a bit after 1pm. The perfect mid day escape into one of the Bruce Peninsula's hidden gems.

The highlights you may ask?

🐦 The birds - absolutely immaculate. I highly recommend downloading Merlin to record their calls and discover just how vast the species are … and do yourself a favour, bring a pair of binoculars for an up-close look. Worth every second.

🌿 The botany - diverse, vibrant, and endlessly.

🥾 The trail - so well maintained you'd think you were walking right behind the crew.

But don't let that fool you. It's relentlessly up and down, hugging the contour of the escarpment and at some point, depending on how far you venture, you will climb the escarpment in its entirety. Come prepared!

What makes it all worth it? These little pockets and clearings where you stop, catch your breath, and just stare out into what might be one of the most stunning views of the entire Bruce Peninsula.

Places like this exist because people are generous enough to open their land for others to enjoy. So let's always remember to respect that. Leave nothing but footprints. A sincere thank you to all who make these trails accessible. 🌱

A VERY special announcement...

I am beyond excited to introduce ☀️Sunny Daze☀️ a charming 3-bedroom, 1.5-bath retreat in the town of Sauble Beach.

I had the pleasure of working with the owner from the very beginning as a cleaner. I was asked earlier this spring to take on management of their summer rental, allowing them some well-deserved RnR that they've earned.

I couldn't be more excited to take on this new chapter. I love the therapeutic nature and freedom that starting my cleaning business has brought, along with the warmth the people of the Peninsula have shown me. Venturing into rental management feels like a natural progression within the hospitality space, a different kind of attention to detail for a property, and honestly, one I didn't realize I was craving. It was something I always wanted, I just didn't have a name for it yet.

This past year truly unlocked a vision. The possibilities feel open, for me, and for anyone that really wants it. 😉

For now, RnR Property Management is proudly serving Peninsula residents only. Slow and steady wins the race. She who chases two rabbits catches neither.

I'll be spending more time in Sauble/Saugeen Beach, soaking in its beauty and getting to know the community even better. Feel free to say hi! There's something out there you used to love ... maybe it was hiking, gardening, writing, fishing. Whatever it may be, you know the one.

Something that, at one moment in time, filled you with such peace it was quietly restoring your nervous system, maybe without you even knowing.
