Whipped up a tasty fast lentil, tomato, zucchini thick garlicky hearty sauce for a client today. Great over rice, pasta, as a dip for crusty or pita bread, or on it's own like a stew. Just simmer, blend the flavours and don't overcook or you will end up with soggy zucchini...yuck! 1st snow of the 2019/20 winter calls for warming filling healing foods for sure.

Hello and Happy New Year to all my wonderful clients. I hope you had a great break, spending time with family and friends over delicious shared meals, drinks and laughter. Over the last 3 years my little cooking-cleaning-organizing-driving-childcare-senior care biz has really taken off. I have made a few slight changes for 2020. Hourly fees will remain the same for existing clients if they book and pre-pay on the 1st of the month.

For new clients-cleaning and driving will be $30/hr pre-booked and pre-paid by the 1st of the month for regular weekly & bi-weekly clients, or for single bookings when a booking is made.

Childcare is $15/hr for up to 2 children from the same family and $18/hr for 3 or more children from the same family or 2 children from different families. Pre-booked & pre-paid.

Senior care is $25/hr for companionship, light cleaning & cooking. Pre-booked & pre-paid.

Any booking cancelled or dates changed before 48hrs is 100% money back, 24hrs os 50% returned, 12hrs no refund as I can not rebook with such short notice.

Thank you for all your wonderful business over the last few years. It has been a pleasure working with so many great families. 2020 looks like a wonderful year ahead full of new adventures, luv, good health and happiness!!

Made wheat meat and energy balls with my eager mini assistant chef a few weeks ago. Finish product turned out great!! He cried a month ago when I made them alone cuz he luvs to mix and knead and beat up the wheat meat for extra firmness!!

I have been very busy these last few weeks since I added evening and weekend childcare to my list of services. We are looking forward to a baking day today to share with friends and family for tye holiday season. We are thinking of a ginger bread village, decedent brownies, mini cupcakes, peanut butter cookies and maybe some chocolate chip banana bread and short bread if we have time.

2 big pots of curry!! Fall brings out the rich, thick, flavourful, nourishing soups, chillies, curries and wonderful shared meals. Currently taking in a few more clients for green cleaning, meals and adding evening babysitting and overnight care. Imagine going out for a night at a wedding, party, hotel in Vancouver etc and coming home the next day to happy children, a clean home and meals in the fridge ready for dinners and lunches for the week.
