“Thank you to Sparkle Car Wash for being U9 team sponsor this year. This support makes it possible for our young hockey players to enjoy the game and become better players.

The Sparkle Car Wash Whalers came along way over the year. We started out slow losing our first 3 league games. Fought hard and ended the season 6-4. Went to 3 tournaments. We didn’t do very well at home tournament, then continued on in the New Year and won the “A” final in Radville and won “B” final in Pense.

I would like to thank our players for working hard all year, in practice and games. Thank you to all our coaches that helped over the year and all our volunteers. Takes everyone’s help to make the season run smooth.

UPDATE: Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory (PDWA) remains in effect across

Based on initial test results, additional sampling is required to confirm city water quality meets provincial standards, before the advisory can be lifted.

Continue to bring all water to a rolling boil for at least one minute before use, including for drinking, cooking, brushing teeth, food preparation, and washing dishes.

Additional sampling is now underway, with results expected in the coming days. The City is expected to share an update early next week, as soon as results are received and reviewed by Water Security Agency.
