We want to remind everyone with animals to keep them off of hot pavement, hot concrete, hot decks, etc. If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for theirs. This will happen to their paws if they’re on the hot ground for just a short period of time. Please walk them in the grass, water or shaded areas.

Looking for tips on cleaning without using chemicals? Check back every week for something new.

1. Vinegar is a great cleaner and disinfectant because it is made from acetic acid. The acidic nature of vinegar can kill bacteria, dissolve mineral deposits, grease and dirt.

White vinegar works the best. Use 2 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp salt to remove calcium deposits on faucets and showerheads.
