Want to clarify something with the spot free since we've had a couple questions.

The spot free is distributed to the wash on an entirely different system than the main wash. It uses its own non-metallic lines and low pressure dedicated pump by design.

Reason is that RO water is essentially void of minerals which makes it "hungry" for minerals and metals to balance itself out. This makes it significantly more corrosive than regular soft water. Obviously this is not ideal for the high pressure steel lines and pumps and will result in premature corrosion/wear.

The spot free should just be used as a rinse at the end. Soaps and chemicals mix better with the warm, soft regular wash.

Hope this clears things up.

To the muppet that took the blue barrel out front. It wasn't there for free, it actually served a purpose.

The drain doesn't work, but I'm sure nobody wants to drive over it.

If you need a rain barrel, just ask, we sometimes have them kicking around.

A little tutorial of the car wash machines in Wadena. You have to push STOP on the debit machine when you are done. Doing so will stop the debit machine and the water pump together. Turning the dial to Stop only stops the water pump.

Everything is up and running properly now.

Just need the weather to cooperate.

For questions on the $40 card preauthorization. The card readers will also run for $40 max per tap and then time out if you don't stop the transaction.

Unfortunately it has to be this way as the machine needs to verify that there is room on the card, or money in the account.

For example, someone with $2 in their bank account could tap their card, start the pumps, and wash for the $40. It's similar to pay at the pump for fuel.

That being said, most cards settle immediately, but some cards take a few days to settle properly.

There are small signs up in the bays to help explain this.

Also, if you don't hit "stop" on the card reader, the timer will keep going. Turning the wash dial to "off" will stop the pump, but not the card reader. It'll show you a total on the screen after you hit "stop" if you are unsure.

Hope this helps.

Please note that the debit/credit terminals are preauthorized for $40.

Some transactions may take a few days to settle at your financial institution. The charge should correct itself automatically.

Let us know if you have trouble.
