are apprenticed for minimum of six months prior to being sent out. We do not send our staff out to your home like other companies who have only had a two-week classroom oriented training session. All our staff are trained on the job for six months. You cannot provide a professional and safe service by learning this occupation from a book. By having an apprentice-training program we can guarantee t

hat the service we provide is done right and will clean and restore the integrity of your ductwork and heating system. In addition, our Power Vac Operators are certified to clean chimneys and remove soot, creosote and scale from your chimneys and oil/gas furnaces. After 23 years in the industry we possess a great amount of knowledge of how your heating system works and runs. Our level of expertise, matched with our company’s rigorous training standards, guarantees that your home will always be in good hands. We use “Truck Mounted Power Vacuums Only”. Our units unlike the van style portables are cable of sucking soot and dust. The truck mount vacuum suction capacity is 16000.00 cubic feet a minute compared to a standard van portable which maximizes at about 2500.00 cfm. The difference in suction is like comparing oranges to apples. As well portables do not have the capacity to suck Soot, meaning they do not clean out the combustion chamber of your furnace which we do. Cleaning the combustion chamber is one of the most important processes of the Complete Package Cleaning. If Soot is left in your furnace for too long it will rot your furnace and put you and your family in danger from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Buyer Beware, you know those wonderful coupons you receive in your mailbox for cheap prices on duct cleaning??? Just be aware that the price is either a scam just to get themselves through your door or you are going to get exactly what you paid for a "Cheap Job". I don't like to sound harsh, I consider competition a good part of our business, but when a company sends out coupons that are advertising prices we charged 20-30 years ago, you really must ask yourself WHY? Fair, good competitors are good business people. This sneak around and low-cost pricing are just gimmicks. Check for references; your furnace service man for example, neighbors, friends and family, ask about insurance ask what type of equipment they use. FYI a typical duct cleaning job averages at about $300.00 with a good qualified insured company. If it is any less then $300.00, your warning bells should be going off. The $300.00 price does not usually cover the cost to clean your furnace or chimney this is additional as it usually takes another 45 minutes to and hour to do the cleaning. A typical furnace and duct cleaning job takes a minimum of two hours to do a good thorough job, so ask them how long the job will take.

Buyer Beware "If the price is to good to be true?"
You’ve no doubt seen a barrage of air duct cleaning ads in recent years, and may be considering having the air vents cleaned in your home. Duct cleaning is a wise choice, but there can be drawbacks.
Air duct cleaning in Canada is not regulated, and is a buyer-beware industry. Some companies, often referred to as “blow and go” businesses, don’t have the proper equipment to properly clean out all the dirt from your HVAC systems. Consumers should avoid gimmicks, such as $99 whole-house specials and sweeping claims about health benefits.
Professional cleaners complain about sub-standard competitors who use only shop-vac-sized machines with 2-inch hoses. In this business, they say bigger is better. If you are interested in having your ducts cleaned, you should talk to at least three companies and choose one that uses a powerful gasoline-powered machine mounted to a truck. Vacuum hoses should be at least 6 inches in diameter.
Otherwise, they’re just stirring up the dirt that’s in your air ducts without removing it. That could certainly create more damage rather than providing a useful service.
Ducts should be cleaned under the following circumstances:
•The home has been recently renovated.
•Water has damaged the home.
•There are pets.
•Someone smokes.
•The carpet is old.
•The windows are often opened.
Once your ducts are cleaned, homeowners can expect to benefit from improved energy efficiency with their heating and cooling system.

Plugged exhaust from furnace to smoke pipe, YES, is the answer if you ever wondered if you need your furnace, smoke pipe and chimney swept. Where do you think the exhaust fumes are going if they can't get out your chimney. We just had a customer call in because she was always feeling sick. Her blood tested positive with carbon monoxide. We came and cleaned out her smoke pipe from her furnace, it was 85% plugged. So YES, you need to clean your smoke pipe and flue from your furnace.
