Long established and successful Commercial Cleaning Company is seeking a highly motivated individual for our Jr. Operations Supervisor position. The successful candidate will undergo an extensive training program in the Category 1 Cleaning proven process, focusing on quality control, consistency of work, and portfolio expectations all while learning and using techniques to maximize results that will help in the leadership of the company.
Previous leadership experience required, and additional training and mentoring will be provided if required.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities for the Jr Operations Supervisor trainee role (includes and are not limited to)
Accountabilities
1. Quality Control
2. Managing all duties attached to their cleaning portfolio of approx. 20 hours per work
3. Covering for illness, holidays, or transfers throughout portfolios
4. Reporting & Data management
5. Maintaining supplies & equipment
Responsibilities (as applied to each heading)
1. Quality Control – Assigned area
* Ensure cleaning work is being done to standard
* Ensure performance of crew
* Provide feedback and training to crew where and when needed
* Document QC reviews for HR and Admin
* Maintain expected standards
* Be familiar with portfolio and sites
* Follow up on issues
2. Managing all duties attached to their cleaning portfolio of approx. 20 hours per week
* Be familiar with all duties and expectations of all sites
* Address, and follow up on issues with Cleaner, Op Manager and Integrator or client care as appropriate
* Follow up on issues within a week to confirm completeness
* Maintain expected standards on all sites
3. Covering for illness, holidays or transfers throughout portfolios
Being available weekly to:
* Cover holidays
* Illness
* Additional training
* Assistance
* Special cleans
4. Reporting & Data management
* Document QC reviews of sites on online app.
* Review timings on login app to confirm work and completeness of work
* Advising management of actions required and/or taken
* Provide assessment of Lead Cleaners and Cleaners throughout their portfolio. Communicate this to management with regards to performance.
* Weekly & monthly meetings with, Integrator to ensure consistency of training, all coverages can be met, consistency of quality control
5. Maintaining supplies & equipment
* Ensuring equipment are in safe working order
* Repairs and scheduled maintenance as required
* Advise Finance when more equipment should be ordered
* Suggest other equipment that might be more effective
* Delivery of stock to Cleaner or site when necessary
* Create & maintain inventory records for storage locker
Maintain cleaning supplies as required including:
* Ordering
* Refilling
* Stocking
* Training
