High Standards Cleaning is a local, FEMALE owned-and-OPERATED full-service residential, post-construction and office cleaning service. We have been in business for over 12 years and have maintained steady and constant growth. We typically work in a residential setting in the Vancouver area, but we also provide office and post-construction cleaning services. We DO NOT do overnight janitorial.

We are currently looking to hire a team lead and team driver\cleaner for an immediate start. DO NOT apply if you do not have a reliable vehicle you are comfortable using to transport yourself, equipment to and from job locations.

Our team is comprised of a small group of employees that typically work between 15-25 hours per week.

You will be part of a 2-3 person team that is expected to work independently. Shifts are available 7 days per week between the hours of 8:30 am and 6:00 pm, broken up into 4 to 8 hour blocks. A typical day would consist of 2-3 residential appointments of 2-3 hours each. Post-construction contracts are typically a full 6-8 hour day at one site.

COVID-19 CONSIDERATIONS
We have all had to adjust and adapt during this unprecedented time. For our business, this means making changes to how our team is scheduled and adding some new procedures to keep everyone safe.
We are flexible to ensure YOU CAN REMAIN ON CERB and not exceed $1000 of income.

COMPENSATION

Team Lead - $20-$25 per hour (must have cleaning experience & a car)
Team Driver / Cleaner - $18 to start (must have own car)
Team Cleaner - $16-18 per hour to start based on skill
DRIVERS GET A DAILY BONUS TO COVER GAS AND INSURANCE

Groups / pairs of friends or students who would like to work together are encouraged to apply as a team, if one (or both) have a vehicle and can be the driver. You may also apply individually to be placed on a team.

All wages are subject to increase based on performance and loyalty.
All employees are covered by liability insurance and WCB
Rates do not apply to travel time.

All cleaning supplies & equipment are provided. Our cleaning products are eco-friendly, gentle on skin, non-toxic and smell great.
We are accommodating with challenging schedules. You choose your work days\hours. Please note that the majority of our work will begin at 9-10am so "afternoon only" availability is not useful.
We are currently looking for Monday & Tuesday availability specifically.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

DRIVERS LICENCE
RELIABLE VEHICLE
Have a data-enabled cell-phone & be relatively tech-savvy
Must have a firm grasp of English (speaking, reading, writing)
Have references
Have a natural knack for cleaning (a perfectionist, bothered by dirty little corners)
Enjoy working both independently as well as part of a team
Be respectful, RELIABLE, trustworthy and PUNCTUAL (must have consistency in arriving at scheduled meet-up locations on time. Zero tolerance for lateness!)
Be hard working, fast and have attention for detail
Ability to take constructive criticism
Appreciate being treated well and respected by your employer, manager and team members and in return treat them well and respectfully. We aim to have a stress free, happy work environment.

Payout every 2 weeks via direct deposit.

MUST HAVE A VEHICLE and preference will be given to those with residential cleaning experience.

The HSC admin & client care manager is responsible for responding to emails, booking appointments, scheduling teams for their shifts, filling in for any holes in the schedule, daily troubleshooting, answering business phone & texts, biweekly data input for payroll, communicating with owner weekly to give updates and generally keeping the operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator in person and over phone\email\text, takes initiative to find solutions and improve processes, is Gsuite and excel savvy, has a data enabled cell phone and is self motivated and driven for success.

Bonus assets:
-has a drivers licence and personal vehicle
-lives in the City of Vancouver
-has experience with a cleaning company or running admin for comparable projects
-enjoys cleaning
-social media skills
-graphic design skills

This is a position has opportunity for growth for the right candidate. After a 3 month probationary period, commission may be added to salary.
