We’re currently finishing up these large-scale white oak ceiling panels for a downtown hotel lounge. They read like solid oak slabs - but there’s some clever engineering under the hood.

By pairing a premium grain-matched face with a high-stability plywood core, we get the warmth and character of solid wood without the seasonal movement. The result: timeless white oak, built for the realities of a high-traffic commercial space.

The Shop team has been in their element with the ABURI Market build. This project is all about the "wow" factor of natural wood paired with smart, functional engineering.

Partnering with Waissbluth Architecture is always a blast because they aren't afraid to let the wood do the talking. From the precision of the exposed bridle joints on the cash desk to the sweeping curves of the display shelving, every piece is built for a premium customer experience.

We even looked out for the cleaning crew, integrating metal kick-faces to keep that Eastern Maple pristine against the evening mops. 🧼✨

Before we ever cut a piece of wood, we model it.

3D models aren’t just a nice-to-have, they’re essential to how we work at The Shop. They let our clients see what we’re thinking, and they give our team a clear, technical roadmap for bringing custom pieces to life.

From material selection and joinery to spatial fit and installation planning, a good rendering eliminates guesswork and sets the standard before anything leaves the bench or supplies get ordered. It’s part of how we reduce rework, increase precision, and stay true to the design intent, down to the last detail.

Dope pastries, dope coffee, dope tunes - in a seriously dope space.

For the first standalone .bakehouse, we built a custom butter-yellow counter as a nod to the real MVP: the butter. 🧈✨

Wrapped in high-gloss, polished automotive paint, this finish doesn’t just shine - it holds up to the daily rush while keeping things fresh. Add in soft curves, warm tones, and a layout designed for flow, and you’ve got millwork that’s built to work as hard as the team behind the counter.

The Shop at Pacific brought the heat to West 4th for the brand new Burton store! 🏂

Check out this behind-the-scenes look at the custom snowboard display wall and front retail desk our team built. This was a true design/build project, moving from initial concept to delivery in just three weeks! Our team handled everything from design and fabrication to final install, helping our international client bring their vision to life right here in Canada.

Millwork that hits the sweet spot between tradition and transformation.

For one of Western Canada’s most prestigious golf clubs, we brought the new Grill to life with layered, detail-driven millwork. Think curved oak planters, temperature-controlled wine displays, integrated shelving, and wall panelling that is seamlessly scribed to the building’s heritage stone foundation.

From the sunken bar to the stained oak panels, every inch was purpose-built to elevate the space and honour the legacy of the club.
