Holiday Update!

We would like to thank all of our wonderful patients for their generosity with all of their food donations to the ACSA food bank! I'd like to thank my staff also for their efforts in this year's food drive, supporting our local Agincourt Community, the SUV was full!. Special thanks to Anna out front desk captain for promoting the drive.

Also, a big congratulations goes out to our participation draw winner, Calvin!

Finally, the entire team at Miliotis Dental, Liezell, April, Anna, Mridula, as well as myself would like to wish you a Happy and Joyous Holiday Season! All the best for 2024!

The entire team at Miliotis Dental is proud of our very own April Jimenez for becoming a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist with the College of Dental Hygienists of Ontario!

April’s dedication and interest in the dental field was evident from the time she began at our office in 2017 as an Oxford College
co-op student. She went on to become a skilled Certified Dental Assistant, and now a Dental Hygienist.

She looks forward to joining our Dental Hygiene team and taking care of your oral health needs in a gentle manner!

Congrats again April!!!

Dear patients,

We have been open for a month now, safely treating people of all ages, and it has been a pleasure to see familiar faces! I encourage you all to contact the office for all your dental needs, including dental cleanings and check-ups. We are happy to serve you in a safe, clean environment.

The following extra safety precautions are in place:

- All patients screened for symptoms and temperature
checked prior to entering
- Only 1 patient or 1 family from same household allowed in
the office at a time
- All staff screened for symptoms and temperature check daily,
masks mandatory at all times
- HEPA air purifiers placed throughout clinic
- Hand sanitizer placed throughout clinic
- Plexiglass enclosure around reception area
- Disinfection of screening table, waiting room chairs, door
handles after every patient
- Enhanced PPE worn by staff during procedures (including
N95 masks, surgical masks, face shields, gowns, hair
covers)
- Strict monitored sterilization and high level disinfection of
instruments and treatment rooms – everything that comes in
contact with you is either sterilized or single use disposable
(as is always standard in our clinic)

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Dear patients,

We would like to thank you all for your patience and understanding during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

At this point we are happy to announce that we have been authorized by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons to resume dental services. This includes non-emergency treatments.

The office will be opening on the week of June 8th.

First priority will be given to any remaining emergency patients, followed by existing treatment plans in progress, and then recall and scaling appointments.

If your recall and scaling appointment was postponed due to COVID-19, we ask that you please wait for us to contact you to reschedule the appointment. Our goal is to gradually get all patients back to their usual recall frequency soon.

Your safety is of utmost importance, and you can be assured that we have everything in place to treat you and your families. We are strictly following guidelines put forth by the Ontario Ministry of Health.

DENTAL OFFICE UPDATE:

Dear Patients,

The State of Emergency in Ontario has been extended until June 2nd. Thus, based on the guidelines from Public Health Ontario, and the Royal College of Dentists, our office will continue to provide emergency care only.

We will attempt to access messages as regularly as possible.

***Our office has always been committed to the highest standards of infection control, and now we have enhanced measures even further to protect patients needing urgent care. Additionally, only 1 patient is allowed in the clinic at a time.

We will continue to provide more updates as they become available. It is unclear how and when dental practices will re-open at this stage. However, all patients in our database will be contacted to reschedule all outstanding treatments to ensure continuity of care.
