Seasonal Full-Time Position.
Canadian Leak Detection is looking to hire a seasonal leak repair technician.
This is an entry-level position. Until completely trained and qualified, you will be assisting other technicians to carry out leak detection & repair. You will provide leak detection and repair service for concealed leaks behind walls, concrete slabs, asphalt, basements, landscaping, irrigation systems, radiant heat systems, swimming pools and spas. You may also carry out electronic line tracing for water, sewer and septic lines. All our leak detection is done above ground and various forms of electronic equipment is used on each job as required.
-You will make decisions and use technology to pinpoint the accurate location of hidden leaks and provide customer satisfaction.
-Excellent communication, strong customer service and honesty is required.
Job Functions:
-Follow company guidelines and policies when driving company vehicle(s) and operating company equipment.
-Perform leak detection service indoors and outdoors on private, residential, commercial and municipal property.
-Perform repair work, which may include concrete removal, concrete pouring, digging, power tools, jackhammers, concrete saw and carrying buckets of concrete.
-Clean, organize and maintain all company tools, vehicles and equipment
-Complete, organize, maintain and submit complete invoices and pertinent paperwork
-Assist other technicians when called upon
-Assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
-Fluent English
-Valid Driver’s license (to remain in good standing throughout employment term)
-Ability to swim
-Position may require working nights/weekends or overtime
-The use of hand and power tools
-Ability to lift up to 100lbs
