Weekly water care on a Hydropool — the whole routine.

People tend to overestimate what owning a hot tub actually asks of them. The real weekly routine is five steps, and most of it is looking rather than doing.

Start with a visual check — clarity, surface, anything that looks off. Rinse the filter, which is the step that quietly costs people money when it gets skipped. Test the water; a strip takes fifteen seconds and removes all the guesswork. Treat and balance based on what the strip actually said, not what you assume. Then get in.

In this one the bromine was low, alkalinity was high, and pH was spot on. The routine isn't about hitting perfect numbers every time, it's about staying consistent.
