Can I Wash Silk at Home?
🕸️ All silk should be handled with care, but washable silks can be handled with care at home. Washable silk is available in both a crushed look or the traditional silky smooth finish.
Check the care label for dry cleaning or washing instructions. Non-washable silks should not be washed because the silk fiber may be weakened and dyes may run. If the care label reads "washable," be sure to follow these guidelines before laundering your garment...
📘 Read the care label for the optimum water temperature.
🧦 Separate white items.
🚿 Wash the item on a short cycle. Soak it for no longer than two minutes.
❄️ If you iron your silk clothing, use the iron on the coolest setting.

👔 Cotton | Men's shirts, bed sheets, and napkins are usually laundered using a solution and water
🛏️ Down Products | Down can absorb dry cleaning solvents and down products like duvets are usually laundered
🐑 Wool | Wool can be washed at home but usually requires blocking after cleaning
