Winter doesn’t just hit the deck boards. The stairs, railings, and surrounding fence are exposed to the same weather.

We oiled every part of this outdoor wood to help protect it from moisture, snow, and drying out through the colder months.

Doing the entire space at once keeps the wood protected and brings its natural colour and grain back to life.

New oil is only as good as the wood underneath it.

Before we can apply a fresh penetrating oil, the old failing stain needs to come off. Power washing helps strip away the loose coating and buildup, exposing the original wood underneath.

Once the surface is properly cleaned and prepped, the new oil can actually pe*****te the wood instead of sitting over an old failing finish.

Proper restoration starts with proper prep.

Wood can look almost beyond saving when years of dirt and buildup turn it this dark.

Underneath all that black grime, the original wood can still be hiding. A proper wash removes the buildup and starts bringing the natural colour and grain back out.

The difference up close is satisfying, but the full before and after shows just how much good wood was underneath.

Don’t assume dark, dirty wood needs to be replaced.
