FMS Tip: Cleaning/Checking ID Reader

When was the last time you cleaned your ID reader?
While you’re cleaning the 3D camera, take a moment to wipe down the ID reader and photocell. Keeping the photocell clean helps ensure it can properly detect when a cow has left the stall and close the gate.

FMS Tip: Expelling Device

Not sure if your expelling device is working properly? There are a couple of simple ways to test it.
Use the test menu to check the device’s reaction or hang the weight over the gate and look for the small electrical sparks between the weight and the gate.
A quick test can help confirm everything is working as it should.
