🧼🚿 Shower scum buildup from soap & water minerals is a special kind of annoying! We've learned that unfortunately, cleaning alone will never get the shower glass back to its original condition after months or years of buildup. That calls for a full glass restoration or replacement 😬 However, here are a couple quick tips to maintain the condition of the glass between cleans so professional cleaners don't have to spend as much time (& your money) scrubbing through layers of buildup:

🍑 Rinse down your shower glass after each shower with a shower sprayer head (if your shower has one) or a cup of water
🍑 Squeegee the glass after rinsing

✨ 5 GENTLE REMINDERS WHEN HIRING PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS:

🍑 Don't underestimate the amount of time they need to complete your requests well & meet your expectations - although professional cleaners are often faster & more efficient at cleaning than the average person, they are also more careful & detailed. Good things take time!

🍑 Avoid undervaluing their job - sometimes being a cleaner can feel like working out for several hours in a row, with lots of aches/pains/stiffness & exhaustion that follows. Cleaning is hard work!

🍑 Feel comfortable with who you’re letting into your home/commercial space - welcoming cleaners into your space can be a vulnerable thing. Listen to your intuition & if something feels off, search for some better options. There ARE trustworthy, reliable cleaners out there, you just need to find them!

🍑 Expectations should be clearly defined - not being on the same page when it comes to hiring professionals can lead to frustration & resentment. Your cleaners should provide a client agreement for you to review & sign so both parties can have peace of mind.

🍑 Rates aren’t only determined by hours spent cleaning - especially if a company is legitimate & reputable, their rates could seem higher than you’re comfortable with. Just keep in mind that the cost is not only covering the hours spent cleaning, but also the wear & tear on human bodies, cars & washing machines; gasoline; professional equipment/supplies/products; business insurances & licensing; Customer Relationship Management systems; admin time; etc.
