🌿🧺Hi everyone! My name is Emily, and I’m the owner and creator of Sage & Linen Wash and Fold. 🌿🧺
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little bit about why I started this business.
A few months ago, my partner and I made the big move from our home in Nova Scotia to Stony Plain, Alberta, to be closer to his dad, who is currently battling cancer. It wasn’t an easy decision to leave behind everything I knew, but as someone who watched my father lose his battle with cancer 10 years ago, I wanted to provide as much support to my partner and his family as possible.
Starting over in a new province has been both exciting and challenging. Like many people, I’ve been trying to find my footing while supporting the people I love.
I'm working hard every day to build this business from the ground up while balancing personal life during such a difficult time. It's not easy, but I'm so driven to create something meaningful that supports my family, provides me flexibility and purpose, and truly helps others.
That’s what inspired me to create Sage & Linen Wash and Fold.
Laundry may seem like a small thing, but I know firsthand how overwhelming everyday tasks can become when life gets busy, stressful, or just plain exhausting. My goal is to take one thing off your plate so you have a little more time, a little less stress, and a little more peace of mind.
By choosing Sage & Linen, you’re not only supporting a local small business—you’re also helping me build a future for my family during a season of life that has been incredibly difficult. Every order truly means more than you know.
Whether you’re a busy parent, a student, someone working long hours, or simply someone who could use an extra helping hand, I’m here for you.
Thank you so much for welcoming me into the Stony Plain community and for supporting my small business. I can’t wait to serve you and help make life just a little bit easier.
🧺 Clean clothes. More time. Peace of mind.
With gratitude,
Emily
