Day 8 of 8 — Homeless Care Bags 💕

Today we wrapped up our 8 Days of Christmas Giveaway Giveback with something close to our hearts. These bags were packed with intention, dignity, and love — simple necessities, small comforts, and reminders that someone sees you and cares.

Everyone deserves to feel remembered, valued, and gifted — especially during the holidays. While we wish we could serve everyone in need, 25 bags (2 totes) felt like a meaningful place to begin, carrying the energy of 7 — compassion, reflection, and unconditional care.

Each bag was filled with intention: water, cheese and crackers, gloves, tissues, chocolates, candies, mints, and cards rooted in self-love — small comforts meant to remind someone that they matter. 🤍

What started as an idea turned into action, memories, and full hearts. If even one person feels a little warmer, a little less alone, or a little more hopeful — then it was worth everything.

Day 3 of 8 — $5 Cards for Kids 💛

There is something so sacred about childhood — the innocence, the wonder, and the way even the smallest gestures can feel huge in their world.

Yesterday, my husband and I spent the morning running through West Edmonton Mall, quietly handing out Christmas cards filled with $5. Something small to us… but something big enough to them. And in those moments, we didn’t just hand out cards — we brightened little days, little hearts, and little moments that will be remembered far longer than the money itself.

We stepped back and watched from a distance as tiny hands opened envelopes, eyes widened, and smiles stretched ear to ear. One little girl turned to her dad and said, “They gave me $5!” with the biggest grin. Another walked away hand in hand with her mom, both of them smiling from ear to ear — joy shared, multiplied, and felt together.

What stood out most was how deeply these moments reached beyond the children. When you brighten a child’s day, you brighten a parent’s heart too. You soften a moment. You create a pause. You remind families that kindness still exists in the world.

My husband and I looked at each other and said, this will be a core memory. One they may carry with them for years. One they may tell their own children about someday. And maybe, just maybe — one that inspires them to pass it on.

Because kindness given to a child doesn’t end there… it grows.

As we walked away, I looked at my husband and said, “Next year, we have to double it.”
We brightened 10 kids’ days and spent $50 — but the cost was nothing compared to the priceless smiles on their faces. Honestly, I wanted to take out more money to keep handing out .. 😂😅

Because when you see joy like that… you never want it to end. 💕

Today was about the kind of kindness that asks for nothing in return.

We created and shared 25 kindness cards — and in numerology, 2 + 5 = 7, a number that represents compassion, spiritual connection, and acts done purely from the heart. Each one paired with a small heart-shaped key — a reminder that you never know when a simple moment might unlock hope, comfort, or a smile for someone who truly needs it.

These were left quietly, intentionally, and with so much love — on cars, in shared spaces, and in places where someone might be having a hard day. No names. No recognition. Just a gentle reminder that you matter and you are not alone.

At Bee The Lotus, we believe kindness doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. Sometimes it’s a handwritten note. Sometimes it’s a small token. And sometimes, it’s the reminder that even strangers care.
