I received a personal invitation for this event and it was truly inspiring and amazing.
I was beyond grateful to be invited to apply participate and graduate in the YWCAs last cohort 8 of the PowerUp program, and become a part of the alumni.
I just about didn’t go. I was exhausted from working and nervous about walking into the Venue solo. My anxiety was trying to talk me out of it. But the empowerment and inspiration were a feeling I sure will not forget anytime soon. What an incredible honour to be a part of this.
I earned my place there on the 26th and when my current circumstances get me down or I get tired, I think back to the event and all of the wonderful women I got to connect with and it helps launch me back into action.

I highly recommend this local business.
Dealing with them first hand, they were absolutely great people to deal with.

I have had the wonderful experiences dealing with a vast range of small businesses, tradespeople, and local vendors within the property management companies I connected and contracted myself out to. My favourites are businesses that are both professional and offer “boots to the ground” experience.

When the time comes to launch into my next transition buying a home and moving back to the city, they will definitely be on my purview

Once upon a time, I cast myself and my business amongst others only to learn that comparison is the thief of joy.

After managing 250 tenants in a 126 door REIT successfully, and being offered 50 more doors at a new development, I’ve learned this: fancy titles, pages, and friends lists may look good publicly, but how you show up in everyday interactions is what ultimately sets you apart

I find it really amazing that though I haven’t posted since last year that the health of my page is still in amazing standing and I’ve received more new followers than ever!!! I love tech but I am very much a “get out there and into the world and show em what you got” kind of woman and I consider this a huge compliment. Keep going for your goals. Listen more and talk less. Remain teachable. Never stop learning and growing! Treat others as you would wish to be treated, both professionally and everywhere in life for everyone has something to teach us🌹

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I’m off on leave taking care of a medical issue and looking for a casual cleaning assistant! The full ad is up on indeed. I am looking to train a reliable contractor in home to start so as to make sure I find a jewel! My clients deserve the best. And I will work to the best of my ability to make sure that that standard of care and trust is brought forward so long as I am serving their households and taking care of their most precious assets.

I am currently seeking a casual residential house cleaner for short shifts Tuesdays and Thursdays to start. Perfect for a retiree. student taking classes throughout the summer, or stay at home parents so as to focus on family.
I am looking for an applicant who:

-Holds a strong work ethic and carries themself with a strong sense of professionalism.
-Loves working with great clients and loves to clean.
-Is physically capable of doing the work, crouching, kneeling, bending will be required.
-Is respectful of family routines and pets and boundaries.
-Has the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
-Criminal record check required.
-Drug and alcohol check.
-Must have a cell phone.

This is a contract position so the bonus is you get to write off your expenses such as fuel, supplies, cell phone bill, and other expenses on the go!

Long time, no post! I hope everyone is enjoying a wonderful Easter weekend. Spring is finally kicking into full gear. And My hours have changed! At this time I will only be taking clients privately via word of mouth, as to accommodate some very new and positive changes taking place on my journey. Everything changes! And as the old flows out it always leaves fresh space for the new to flow in! Trust the journey 🌹

I highly recommend this brand of vacuum. It’s one of the best units I’ve ever come across over this past 9.5 years. Unlike dyson, which are also great but I still prefer these units hands down…It’s extremely lightweight, compact and has an extensible stick making it easier on your neck and back. Watch Canadian Tire or Bed, Bath and Beyond as it tends to drop in price at certain times of the year. The best place to buy replacement bags is Canadian Tire. Replacement attachments and tools can be purchased local also. I highly recommend Speedy Vacuum on Avenue C North.
A few of my clients bought these units and it was so great that I bought one when it went on sale. A vacuum is an investment as if you opt for a cheaper one, they don’t work as good and they usually don’t last for as long. You get what you pay for like anything in life
