We know that the later opening time has been an issue for some people so, effective Sunday, April 26th, we have decided to start opening again at 7:00 am (note: the door will not be unlocked until 7:00). Please note that the closing time of 8:00 pm remains the same (please make sure that your laundry is started no later than 7:00 pm to ensure that it will be DONE by 8:00 pm). As always, please continue to respect the rules re physical distancing (only 4 people in the Laundromat at any given time and at least 6 feet apart). Thanks and stay safe!

Thanks to everyone who has been following the new physical distancing guidelines at the Laundromat (maximum 4 people in the Laundromat at any time and staying at least 6 feet away from one another). This is a critical part of keeping yourselves and the whole community safe!

There are a number of posters in the Laundromat that outline some additional things that can be done. We thank all those who have been following these guidelines, by doing such things as NOT shaking dirty laundry or overloading washers with soap and by disinfecting laundry baskets at home.
We also thank those who have been making an effort to spend less time in the Laundromat, by doing one or more of the following…

*presorting your laundry at home versus in the Laundromat

*waiting in your car while your laundry is being washed/dried (this is especially appreciated if the Laundromat is at its maximum capacity of 4 people and someone is waiting to get in)

*folding your laundry at home versus in the Laundromat

We will continue to monitor what’s happening at the Laundromat and make decisions accordingly. Thanks so much for your cooperation!

JUST A REMINDER THAT OUR NEW HOURS ARE 8:00 AM TO 8:00 PM, DAILY AND YOU SHOULD USE THE WASHROOM BEFORE YOU COME TO THE LAUNDROMAT, AS THE TOILET IS OUT OF ORDER.

We have taken a number of steps to increase the safety of our customers, such as…

*disinfecting frequently touched surfaces three times a day (e.g. handles, folding tables, washing/vending/change machines, etc.)

*throwing out magazines and books for the time being (feel free to bring your own material to read but please do not leave it at the Laundromat)

* removing 3 chairs and spacing the remaining 3 chairs at least 6 feet apart (we ask that you maintain this safe distance)

*removing the bathroom door and disabling the toilet - sink will still be available to allow customers to wash their hands, which they should do so regularly, especially after touching machines or money

Let’s all work together to make the Laundromat a safe place for everyone!
